Well, I must say, I never really thought that I’d live in Minnesota. To tell you the truth, I never really thought much about it but here I am! I’ve been here for two months now, how crazy is that? I’m working at a different camp, in a different state, with a bunch of people I had never met. But, I’m growing to love it here. I feel like it’s kind of weird for me to be able to love so many different camps, I guess I just really love camping.
Mostly, I love what camping does and the fact that although all camps are very similar in many ways, they all have similar missions, they go about doing things differently. I’ll be spending the next seven months up here working as a ministry staff person. Basically, an intern with the guest services department. I help host groups, make sure the place is ready for the weekend, move tables, etc. But I also get to do a lot of other things like run the coffee shop, help at the climbing tower, and even help with a little program planning.
Anyway, I’m looking forward to what this coming year will bring stay tuned for more details! Now for a few photos…

Just happened to have your blog automatically open when I was on the way to someplace else. Honey, some of your pictures are breathtaking! You should consider pursuing photography as a possible future occupation. And I love to read your writing. You are so good at putting your thoughts on paper in such an eloquent way! Keep it up–you could write for National Geographic some day!
